Product Description
Oval petals that taper to a pointed edge. The outer petal is a deep violet purple, chalky white on the inside with bright orange stamen. Often viewed as the herald of spring crocus chrysanthus varieties flower earlier than the traditional large flowering Crocus and are sometimes referred to as the 'snow crocus'. A pure delight in early spring that, if left undisturbed, will multiply year after year. The flowers are delicate so can be planted or placed under taller shrubs and trees in beds, borders and containers. Also a great rockery plant, its mature height a compact 15cm. 5-6cm corms supplied.
