Product Description
The Chasmanthe Duckittii is a unique plant originating from South Africa. It produces canary yellow flowers in vertical rows on either side of the yellow-green stem. Sword-like foliage surrounds, creating a complementing backdrop. Also known as the Cobra Lily, each delicate tubular flowerhead resembles the head of a snake, with delicate cream/white stamens emerging from them like snake tongues. A truly unique plant, related to the popular Crocosmia. Chasmanthe prefer full sun and sandy soil. Ifyou do not have sandy soil, be sure to surround the corms with extra sand and grit for best results. Top sized Bulbs supplied. Flowers July to October. Height 1.2m.
