Fantastic double mauve flowers that grow without foliage earning them the nickname, 'naked ladies'. Increasing popular for their ability to naturalise well when left undisturbed each bulb often produces up to 30 beautiful flowers from late September to November. They are an excellent choice for rockeries or for borders, and can even be grown on a windowsill without soil. Height 10-15cm. 14cm+ circumference bulbs supplied. These Autumn flowering bulbs may be in flower on arrival as illustrated.

Growing at a glance…
Grow in moist, well-drained soil from May to June. Ensure the water isn't too moist, also known as 'waterlogged', as it can damage the bulb. Can naturalise when left in turf and grassy areas of the garden, especially when grown under trees and bushes for a woodland effect. No pruning is required, simply let the plant to die back naturally before cutting back.
