Lychnis Viscaria Splendens is a sensational perennial that produces brilliant magenta-pink flowers from June through to September. Sometimes called the sticky catchfly due to its sticky brown stems, they will reach a mature height of 40cm. As well as attracting butterflies and bees Lychnis viscara are said to improve the growth of surrounding plants by helping to increase their disease resistance making them a really useful addition to your beds and borders. They will also make wonderful cut-flower displays adding a splash of vibrant colour into the home. For best results plant in moist but well-drained fertile soil and deadhead flowers to prolong flowering period. UK-grown 5cm module plants supplied.
