Product Description
Alchemilla Mollis, also known as 'Lady's Mantle', is a wonderful hardy perennial that produces tiny clusters of sunny yellow/lime flowers that sit atop clump forming, deciduous green crimped leaves. Preferring areas of direct sunlight or partial shade, these energetic plants are great for ground cover as they have a spreading habit and so are best planted at the front of garden borders or within patio containers. Flowers bloom from June through to September and reach a mature height of 60cm. UK-grown 5cm module plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Cut back the faded flowers and foliage in August to encourage a second flush of flowers. Alchemilla has a tendency to self-seed freely, so to minimise the spread of the plant remove the seedheads carefully after flowering. Can tolerate a range of soils, including heavy clay. Drought tolerant. To plant, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently.
