Product Description
Often referred to as Monks Head Lily, White Star produces very attractive creamy-white flowers that bloom prolifically over the summer months between June and July. This is an early-flowering hardy perennial that will help to create a beautiful display within the garden borders or patio containers reaching a mature height between 60-80cm. Growing at a glance…
Ideally, plant your aquilegia in spring. This gives the plants time to establish before growing. Position somewhere sunny or semi-shaded. Plant in spring, digging a generous hole to house the module, adding some grit to the bottom of the hole to aid drainage. Add the module to the hole and fill the edges with soil, firming it down so it's nice and snug. Water well once planted - although, when they've established, they shouldn't need regular watering (except in a prolonged drought). Deadhead spent flowers to keep the plant nice and neat.
