Product Description
A beautiful Japanese Dogwood, Cornus Kousa 'Miss Satomi' produces a very showy display with an abundance of large, deep pink flower bracts from April to May. These are followed by ornamental fruit with a similar appearance to strawberries. These hardy shrubs are a holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit where from the autumn, the lovely deciduous green foliage turns purple then a deep red. Ideal for adding character and charm to garden borders when planted in groups or alongside contrasting colours of Dogwoods; or for those with less space, these wonderful shrubs have a great spreading habit and can be trained up walls. We recommend planting in direct or partial sunlight, where these striking shrubs will reach a mature height of 3m but can be pruned to a more manageable size dependent on the garden. 20-30cm plant supplied in a 2 litre pot.

Growing at a glance…
The cornus (dogwood) is an amazing and unique addition to any garden display, as it will produce wonderfully colourful shoots in winter. Will thrive in full sun or partial shade, and require little pruning, though you can prune back in mid-spring to help keep a comfortable shape. Make sure they get plenty of water in the dry season. Suitable for planting in most types of soil, and if you have the space then we recommend that you plant in groups of three for an even spread.
