Product Description
Daphne mezereum 'Rubra' is a real winter flowering favourite that is the perfect choice when looking to add a flourish of colour to the garden when little else is in flower. Also known as February Daphne or Spurge olive, it is a compact shrub which explodes into bloom with masses of intensely fragrant, beautiful pink/purple flowers which smother the upright, bare branches from February to March. After flowering, attractive scarlet red berries will appear in profusion. Reaching a height of one metre, these eye-catching shrubs will add character to garden borders or patio containers and will thrive when planted in sunny areas of the garden where they are able to grow in most soil types. Root ball plants supplied.
