Product Description
Daphne odora is a charming winter flowering gem that is native to China, Japan and Korea. Often noticed for its beautiful fragrance before it is even seen, this stunning evergreen shrub produces fleshy clusters of aromatic pink tubular flowers, each with four spreading lobes that begin to flourish from December through to March. After flowering, attractive red berries are then produced that stand out against the variegated foliage. A fairly compact variety that is sure to brighten the winter garden, they are very hardy plants once established, reaching a mature height of 1.5m. We recommend planting in the garden border where its intoxicating fragrance can be appreciated but can also be placed into containers for the patio or decking for those with a smaller outdoor space. Two litre pot plants supplied.
