Deutzia 'Pride of Rochester' is a beautiful flowering shrub that is native to eastern and central Asia. Pendant-like panicles form from clusters of nodding double star-shaped flowers that possess a silky white shade and feint pink blush. The beautiful flowers appear in June and July that contrast beautifully against the deciduous lance-shaped leaves and arching red-brown stems. This California Lilac is the perfect addition to any garden, adding height and texture to your garden borders or patio containers, they will thrive in sunny spots of the garden when grown in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Reaching a mature height of 2.5m, we recommend pruning annually to encourage healthy growth and improve flowering. 40-60cm bare rooted plant supplied.
