Product Description
Also known as Plantain Lilies, Hosta's are super hardy perennials that produce attractive and eye-catching foliage. 'Blue Ivory' is a wonderful variety that produces blue-green lobed leaves that contrast beautifully with the outer creamy-green edging, creating a dramatic appearance. From July, star-like lilac flowers begin to bloom and create a beautiful show until August. Low maintenance and hardy, 'Blue Ivory' will grow to a height of 60cm and can tolerate areas both sun and shade. They are the perfect addition to any size of garden where they can be planted as ground cover in borders or used as part of a feature for patios when grown in containers. First grade loose rooted plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them. Plant straight away on arrival in any fertile, well drained soil. These are young plants, so please leave in small pots for 5 to 6 weeks and then pot on into a larger 1.5 - 2 litre pot, or plant into final spot.
