Product Description
A delightful mixture of Iris ensata that produce giant orchid-like double or semi-double flowers from June through to August. Native to Japan, these elegant flowers are easy to grow and maintain so are perfect for even the most novice gardener. The pretty flowers stand tall at 90cm with deciduous green foliage beneath. A clump-forming perennial, they will flourish in well-drained, fertile soil in sunny areas of the garden where they will enliven garden borders and make cheerful cut-flower displays. First grade loose plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Iris can naturalise well if left undisturbed or alternatively bulbs can be lifted and separated in Autumn. After flowering feed with a high potash fertiliser toencourage large bulbs to form.Plant out as soon as possible. Plant in well dug prepared soil. Protect from excessive winter wet.
