Product Description

Merril' is a beautiful Magnolia loebneria variety that boasts branches laden with dainty fragrant milky-white flowers that are of a smaller size to other Magnolia varieties. These beautiful flowers begin to bloom from April and create a stunning show until June which appeal to pollinators such as butterflies, bringing them into the garden. Once the fragrant flowers have fallen, oblong deciduous green leaves then cover the branches. A holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, this is a hybrid variety (a combination of Magnolia kobus and stellata) that is prized for its upright habit and robust nature, it is free flowering and reaches a mature height of 2m, perfect for planting in garden borders. 12cm pot grown plants supplied.
