Philadelphus Virginal is more commonly known as the Mock Orange due to its delightful fragrance. This hardy shrub produces fully double blooms in the purest white from June through to July which rest against dark green foliage. The pretty buds unfurl in early summer, which fill the garden with delightful fragrance and attract bees and butterflies to the sweet and rich nectar of the flowers. The upright habit also provides the perfect security for birds, so is a great choice for encouraging wildlife into the summer garden. We recommend planting Philadelphus Virginal within borders or containers near a doorway or seating area, where the gorgeous perfume can be fully appreciated and where it will reach a mature height and spread of 2m. 9cm pot plants supplied.
