| Plant in fertile, well drained and moist soil. Acer shrubs prefer sunny or partial shaded areas, and can also be grown in pots. If growing in pots make sure that the pot is large enough to support the shrub and that it also has plenty of drainage holes. Use John Innes compost if planting in pots. |

This is a nice acer it has pink foliage, its not too feminine but has a subtle colour to it, it does stand out nicely as a alternitve to the usual colours,it grew well in semi shade for me. I found a possible common name for it was wild geisha, which i thought was a nice name.
