| Midget fruit trees are suitable for planting in most types of moderately fertile, well drained soil, although they do not like acid soil. If possible prepare the ground some time in advance of planting. Open out holes and plant with enough space to accommodate the roots without cramping them. Plant in a sunny location as they do not prosper too well in the shade. Begin weed control prior to planting and keep a clean ring around the plant (with a radius of approx 24inches). The midget variety are ideal for containers, perfect for patio fruit. |

| Young trees must be watered thoroughly and sprinkle with fertilizer each spring. You can also mulch in April with rotted manure or compost around the base of the trunk. They should be planted in well sheltered locations. |

These fruit trees were delivered in Nov 2010, the apple trees have fruited this year (2011) although one tree only has 3 apples, but hey apples!! The pear tree didnt fruit this year, but I expect big things from it for next year. The three trees make a wonderful display.

This is my second year with these trees and although I have no pears the apples are doing very well with a reasonable crop for their second summer.

Brilliant little trees got no fruit on them on 1 yr (2010) and WoW in the secand yr (2011) lots of flowers and expeting lots of fruit .
