Raspberry 'Glen Lyon' is a fabulous early fruiting Raspberry variety that produces masses of fruit from June to July. A modern Scottish variety it is disease resistant and performs well in the UK climate, making it perfect addition to the summer garden. Ideal for planting in the garden border, allotments or patio containers for smaller spaces, Rubus Idaeus Glen Lyon will reach a mature height of 1.25 metres. Plant in well-drained soil in sunny locations for the best results. These delicious red berries are packed full of flavour and are fantastic eaten fresh or used within cooking to make pies or crumbles. They can also be frozen to be used at a later date or used within smoothies for a fresher taste. UK-grown raspberry canes supplied.

Mulch with well rotted compost or manure which will also help keep control of any wayward weeds. After planting cut back to between 15-25cm above soil level. It is important you make sure they are kept well watered and the soil is kept weed free.Plant raspberry canes in fertile, well drained and well cultivated soil. Plant in a sunny location or in a partially shaded area. Plant bare root canes from November to March. Plant firmly 35-45cm apart with 120-180cm between rows, and providesupport in the form of a stake when needed.
