Product Description
A striking twist on the traditional Hybrid Tea Rose shape, Rose Lover's Meeting produces classically shaped blooms with uniquely pointed outer petals of exotic Indian Orange, appearing between June and early September. Standing atop sturdy green stems that reach a mature height of one metre, the glossy bronze-green foliage contrasts well against the large vivid blooms. This vibrant specimen is extremely versatile and grows as well in the border as it does in a container but should always be placed in a sunny location to ensure strong flowering. The stunning orange Rose is a firm favourite of British florists as well as gardeners, this stunning Rose also makes a striking cut flower display that can be enjoyed within the home or as part of a bouquet. Ready to be planted on arrival, we supply only top-quality rose bushes, bare rooted and wrapped to prevent the roots drying out. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. Its important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.

Growing at a glance…
Roses should be planted firmly, to ensure that wind will not disrupt the roots. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks in the spring/summer, and apply a mulch in the winter for protection. Can be pruned back to remove any dead wood or growth. It is best to plant roses in winter or early spring, provided there is little frost. To prepare your bare rose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for an hour to 24 hours (longer in spring). Then, dig a hole large enough to house the roots when fully outspread. Distribute the roots evenly around the hole and put in a little bit of fine soil to which has been added a small amount of bonemeal. Fill in with the rest of the soil over the roots and tread in firmly. The depth of planting roses will vary between 10-20cm, or as deep as they were in their pots.
