Firethorn (Pyracantha)

OUT OF STOCK
Pyracantha coccinea, also known as the Firethorn shrub, is an upright, evergreen shrub producing dark green foliage from its spiny branches, as well as delicate clusters of small, white flowers in late spring. These are followed in the autumn months by a profusion of distinctive, red-orange berries, guaranteed to add a blaze of vivid colour to the garden when other plants are being to recede. The bushy, prickly nature of Firethorn means that it works well as a thorny, low maintenance hedge which will look dense and vigorous all year round. We recommend planting 45cm apart. 9cm pot grown plants supplied.
