The intensity of Anchusa azurea Loddon Royalist's deep cobalt blooms is rarely seen in nature, making it an exquisite addition to the late summer bed or border, also adding drama and depth a cut bouquet. This upright perennial reaches heights of up to 1m and produces unusual bristly foliage in addition to its flowers which appear from May to July and are particularly attractive to bees. At full height it may benefit from some support. First grade loose root plants supplied.
