Harts Tongue Fern

Asplenium scolopendrium

Pack of 3

(Code P579)

£9.99
An unique introduction to the garden, the Asplenium scolopendrium is something a little different presenting simple undivided leaves unlike other popular ferns. Narrow lances of arching strap shaped undulating fronds gained this plant the common name Hart's-tongue Fern from their resemblance to a dears tongue, a Hart being a male dear. Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases. A handsome architectural plant, perfect for adding that oriental feel to the patio or border. Supplied in a 9cm pot.
