This carefully selected range of rare Japanese Tree Peonies boast some of the most vibrant and bright coloured giant blooms possible. Unusually for Japanese varieties they are highly scented so be sure to plant where the sweet fragrance can be enjoyed. Unlike herbaceous Paeonia, that can be delicate, Tree Peonies are a hardy busy shrub with tough woody stems that allow the plant to survive the winter season. They prefer to be in dappled shade and generally require little pruning, keep well watered if you have them in a fully sunny position. Some of the earliest blooming Peonies, flowering from April to July. 11cm pot plants supplied.
