Also known as treasure flowers, Gazanias love sunny spots and well-drained soils. Their large flowers are cheerful and bright, in shades of yellow, orange, red, gold, white and purple - often with attractive markings and blushing petals. They look pretty in containers, slopes, beds, borders, and as ground cover. Gazanias resemble daisies because they are both part of the family Asteraceae. They are free-flowering, but produce even more flowers if deadheaded regularly. A native of South Africa, these plants aren't too fond of frost so make sure to keep them protected in bad weather. Flowers June to September. Height 25cm. Supplied as UK-grown Maxi plug plants grown from F1 seed, the best quality seed used for exceptional plants.

Our award winning UK grown Maxi plug plants are supplied in trays of 33 or 66 and packed in specially designed blister packs with a robust sleeve in order to get to you nursery fresh. Grown to a height of 6-9cm they are despatched from Late March/April (depending on variety) and only require a little potting on before they are ready to go.
On arrival, give them a little water (if required) and light and they will be ready to plant within 48 hours. Pot on for two weeks and they will be ready to plant outdoors, alternatively they can be planted out straight away in a weed free container when there is no danger of frost. Deadhead regularly to help encourage a further growth of flower heads. Supplied as UK-grown Maxi plug plants grown from F1 seed, the best quality seed used for exceptional plants.
