Anemone Blanda Blue
OUT OF STOCK
This Anemone is also known as Windflower plant and Sapphire anemone. They originated in the woodlands of Europe, which helps to explain its natural and unspoilt beauty. It bears the most striking blue/purple daisy like flowers against dark green leaves. These are excellent for planting with other early flowering bulbs as they help hide spent foliage. They also give great spring colour to a woodland garden. Leave to naturalise and they will spread quickly. There is nothing like the simplicity of these wonderful flowers, they will brighten your garden with a glorious blue carpet. 4/5cm bulbs supplied.

Anemones should be planted at least 3-5cm deep and no less than 10cm apart. It is highly recommended that you soak the bulbs in water for one day prior to planting.
Hardly any flower can compare with the endless variety of shades produced by these flowers. Care should be given to ensure that there is good drainage as these corms are very sensitive to dampness. They are a fantastic choice as they will naturalise and multiply quickly over the years. All anemones are perfectly hardy and are ideal subjects for cut flowers, borders and rockery displays.
