Also called the spring starflower Wisley Blue is an award winning variety of Ipheion that boasts narrow strap-shaped light green leaves and solitary star-shaped lilac blue flowers on upright stems. The flowers are sweetly scented and the shiny green grass-like foliage has an onion scent when crushed. Holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit. A very hardy bulb, creating a mixture of beautiful 20-25cm tall flowers in March, through to May. Top size bulbs supplied.
