Product Description
This amazing mix of Achillea (Yarrow) produces giant clusters of aromatic daisy-like flowers that emerge from the fern-like green/grey foliage in a variety of colours from July through to September. Yarrow Mixed provides great plants for pollinators, attracting butterflies and bees into the garden; these hardy perennials are best planted in direct sun or partially shaded areas of the garden where their bushy habit make them great for filling in areas of the garden border. Named after the Greek mythological character Achilles, his soldiers used the plants to heal their wounds hence the curious common names Allheal and Bloodwort. A favourite in the garden as well as fresh and dried floral arrangements, this Yarrow mix is extremely hardy, reliable and adaptable. Height 60-70cm, spread 45cm. Supplied as UK-grown 5cm module plants.
We guarantee our great value mixture packs contain a comprehensive blend of variety and colours. By definition the components of the mixtures are not labelled/named on arrival.

Growing at a glance…
Achilleas are easy to grow and maintain. They can survive most soil types, as long as it is not waterlogged. Position somewhere sunny or semi-shaded. Plant in spring, digging a generous hole to house the module, adding some grit to the bottom of the hole to aid drainage. Add the module to the hole and fill the edges with soil, firming it down so it's nice and snug. Water well, especially during prolonged boughts of heat.
