Growing at a glance…
Mature Edelwiess can often be divided and transplanted in spring, especially if the clumps become too large for the area available. Plant out as soon as possible on arrival in well dug prepared soil. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well.
