Erysimum 'Desert Island', also known as Hardy Wallflower, is a semi evergreen perennial that produces wonderfully bright yellow flowers from late April to early June. A member of the Wallflower family, the prolific lemon coloured flowers will bring a summery feel to any border or garden space. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other nectar loving insects this beautiful plant will help to entice wildlife into your garden space. Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2.
