Product Description
A Northern American variety from the Sunflower family known as the common blanket flower. These sunny flowers produce a deep red ray floret fringed bright yellow that surround a purple-brown centre. The hardy compact perennials are easy to grow and will attract pollinators such as bees into the garden. Highly resilient, they have a great naturalising potential and prefer to be planted in sunny areas of the garden where they will thrive but can also tolerate partially shaded areas. Ideal for planting in the front of borders or patio containers, they will reach a mature height of 30cm. Or add interest and colour into the home by using these wonderful flowers for bouquets. Growing at a glance…
Ideal for a sunny border or rock garden. These hardy module plants can be planted on arrival. Simply plant them in the desired area and watch them burst into life. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well.
