Celebrated for their extreme hardiness, resistance to slug damage and excellent tolerance to most weather conditions, these fantastic specimens make a delightfully low maintenance addition to any border. Like other Penstemon varieties, it produces lush, glossy foliage and orderly clusters of tubular flowers on a tall stalk which are particularly repellant to deer making them the perfect choice for woodland and rural gardens. These bell-shaped blooms have vivid red petals with distinctive white markings their throats, and will emit a subtly sweet fragrance making them excellent plants for bees! The ideal addition to any wildlife garden, Penstemon Sweet Cherry look exquisite when planted in an informal border for a beautiful cottage-style display. Grows to a mature height of 60 to 70cm.
