Our wonderful collection of Tricyrtis, otherwise known as Japanese Toad Lilies, produce unusual, tropical looking flowers from August through to October. The star-shaped flowers have heavily freckled detailing and attractive green leaves that contrast beautifully against the showy flowers. Tricyrtis are a great choice for adding an enchanting and unusual variety into the garden as they are low maintenance and shade loving, growing to a height of 60cm. We recommend growing in groups either in singular or mixed colours for a delightful garden display, or when cut and used as part of a floral arrangement. This exotic collection includes: 6 Hirta (red/purple spots), 3 Dark Beauty (blue/purple) and 3 Latifolia (yellow with purple spots). First grade loose roots supplied.

They thrive in areas of shade or light shade to produce some of the most unusually beautiful spotted flowers. Can be divided in Spring should you want to relocate them.Upon arrival plant out straight away in either shaded or partial shaded areas. They prefer well drained soil that is fertile, and add some rotted manure when planting.
