Product Description

Also known as the African Lily, Agapanthus are a must have perennial for the summer border. 'Blue Storm' is a new compact Agapanthus that will grow much shorter than other traditional varieties, only reaching a height of 75cm. Unlike other Agapanthus, this variety will produce more stems and therefore more violet blue funnel-shaped flowers for an abundant long-lasting display. This variety also has the added bonus of glossy, evergreen foliage which will add interest to your garden all year round. Flowers June to August. Loose Rooted Plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…

Our agapanthus potted plants can be grown directly outside in the border or into a container on arrival. Dig a hole that’s big enough to house the root system in your desired planting spot, at the same depth as they are in their pot. Wedge the plant in by adding soil to the gaps left, firming the plant down gently to ensure it’s in place. These perennials will flower from early summer through to mid-autumn. Mulch well with compost or organic matter for winter protection. Position in full sun or partial shade.
