Alpines are a collection of plants that originate from mountainous or rocky regions. They have a compact habit, making them excellent for ground cover, and can be planted in borders, rockeries, raised beds and patio containers. The ten superb hardy varieties in this Alpine Perennial collection prefer free draining soil that mimics the conditions of their origin and will produce abundant flowers during late spring and summer. The collection of 30 includes 3 each of Saponaria ocymoides, Armeria maritima Splendens, Aster alpinus Winter Wonder, Aubretia Cascade Blue, Sedum Kamtschaticum, Aster alpinus Blue Wonder, Evening Primrose, Pulsatilla Rubra, Prunella grandiflora Rubra and Edelweiss. Supplied as UK-grown 5cm module plants. Please note: At this time, we are unable to supply the Evening Primrose (Oenothera). As a replacement, you will receive 3 Dianthus deltoides Confetti Red with this collection.
