Also known as the Wood Anemone, Anemone nemerosa is a popular sight throughout the woodlands of Europe. Perfect for rockeries and borders, producing a carpet a low-growing carpet of white flowers, approx 15cm in height. Great naturalising bulbs by their natural habit, they excel when planted in groups. First grade loose root supplied.

Anemones should be planted at least 3-5cm deep and no less than 10cm apart. While they do not object to partial shade, they thrive best when planted in an area with plenty of access to sun. The richer the soil, the more flowers will be produces. They are an excellent choice for borders or rockeries, but can also be grown in pots or containers provided they are not given any heat.
Hardly any flower can compare with the endless variety of shades produced by these flowers. Care should be given to ensure that there is good drainage as these corms are very sensitive to dampness They are a fantastic choice as they will naturalise and multiply quickly over the years.
