Product Description

Gigantic milky white flowers with a yellow flare held in bold trusses over mid-green foliage. The fragrant, trumpet shaped flowers are produced from April to May, followed by spectacular autumn foliage. Will thrive in partial shade in moist, well drained humus-rich, acid soils. For best results plant shallow with a thick layering of mulch over the roots to keep them cool and preserve moisture. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form, and good resistance to pests and diseases. 

Knaphill Azaleas are deciduous varieties that are under the rhododendron umbrella. They’re superb for the garden, and produce a strong root system. Easy to grow, perfect for gardeners of any skill.

Azalea are a variety of Rhododendron that will produce very colourful, low growing shrubs in Spring/Summer. Mulch annually with leaf mould to help protect roots and dead head as and when required to do so. Little pruning required for this variety.Shallow plant in fertile, well drained and light/acidic soil.
