This tall, slender Himalayan birch tree has stunning white peeling bark and has long been a favourite of garden designers. Historically the paper like bark was used in ancient times for writing Sanskrit texts and it is still used today for sacred mantras. It is often naturally found amongst leafy rhododendrons and conifers where the white bark is particularly striking. It's deciduous foliage turns yellow in autumn. Supplied in a 3 Litre Pot. Ultimate height can be anywhere from 4-15 metres depending on conditions. Supplied at 125-150cm in a 3 Litre Pot.

Betula, known as the Weeping Birch can be planted in fertile, well drained soil. It is often best to plant in areas with full sun, or slight shade.
They are perfect for gardens of all sizes as can be lightly pruned to help remove any damaged shoots. Make sure the soil is not allowed to dry out, particularly in its early years, and water freely during the flowering season.
