Betula pendula Youngii is an elegant weeping alternative to teh Silver Birch. It is the ideal tree for smaller gardens or where space is limited. The unusual weeping branches will touch the floor almost like the shape of an umbrella, but can be pruned back. It is easy to grow and maintain, growing to a height of between 3-4 metres. Supplied in 3 litre pots.

They are perfect for gardens of all sizes as can be lightly pruned to help remove any damaged shoots. Make sure the soil is not allowed to dry out, particularly in its early years, and water freely during the flowering season.Betula, known as the Weeping Birch can be planted in fertile, well drained soil. It is often best to plant in areas with full sun, or slight shade.
