The versatile and compact Blueberry 'Mid-Season Gold Traube', also known as the 'vaccinium corymbosum goldtraube' is one of the most flavoursome mid-season blueberry varieties, producing fragrant, larger than average fruits in abundance between July and August. Known by nutritionists as a super food, the delicious blueberry has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent years. Not only are blueberries celebrated for their high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants, but they also taste delicious when cooked into jams and desserts. One of our best-selling heavy cropping varieties, the Gold Traube Blueberry is a reliable specimen which will also create an attractive autumn display when its leaf colour turns in September/October. 9cm pot plants supplied.

They will thrive with regular nitrogen feeding and like regular doses of manure. They are self-fertile, but heavy crops are achieved by cross pollination between two plants. Blueberries will need to be planted in fertile, acidic soil. Plant deep as reproduction/new growth are by underground suckers.
