Product Description
The Cercis Chinensis Avondale, commonly known as the Chinese Redbud originates from China. This shrub is a real showstopper and produces rich purple-magenta pink flowers on bare stems in late April-May before the leaves emerge. Large heart shaped green glossy leaves are an added attraction, leaves are vivid yellow in autumn. Its bushy habit lends itself well to being trained as either a shrub or small tree. It is surprisingly easy to grow and very hardy too, for maximum flowering, plant in an open sunny position where light levels are high. Ultimate height 4m, but easy to keep much smaller.
