Compact Fig Prolific

Ficus carica, or the Fig Prolific as it is commonly known, is a deciduous shrub that produces some of the best, sweetest tasting figs on the market. A medium shrub, growing to 1.5m+ in size, they produce lobed leaves and small flowers in spring, followed by edible fruit in summer. Figs normally start as a light or dark green, but are fully ripe once their actual colours changes to purple. Supplied in a 2 litre pot, at approx. 60cm+ on arrival, they can easily be kept compact if held as a rootbound shrub in a patio or container.
