Product Description

Crataegus, more commonly known as Hawthorn, is a holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. 'Paul's Scarlet' produces vivid blooms of pink flowers with a snowy-white centre. A popular and thorny shrub, the lobed leaves make a wonderful backdrop to these charming flowers that are ideal for adding character and colour to the spring garden border. They are an idyllic ornamental shrub that will happily cope with most growing conditions, preferring fertile, well-drained soil and sunny locations where they will thrive. 'Pauls Scarlet' will flower from March to May and reach a mature height of 2.4m. 60cm+ bare rooted grafted plants supplied.
