Product Description
'Nicholas' is a stunning decorative Dahlia that will add beauty to your garden throughout summer. From July to October, large 10cm diameter apricot-orange flower heads are produced that are flushed with a golden hue and crimson ring towards the centre. A perfect addition to the summer border, Dahlia 'Nicholas' will reach a height of 80-90cm and stand proudly amongst other varieties. The striking blooms also make excellent cut flowers for the vase. Height 80-90cm. Top-grade Dahlia tubers supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
