Product Description

We have brought together a gorgeous Dicentra Hearts Collection, otherwise known as Bleeding Hearts. These beautiful flowers will give an impressive display with their many arched sprays of heart-shaped flowers that are produced and sit atop frilly green/blue foliage. Flowering from early spring to late summer; they reach a height of up to 30cm where they will attract butterflies when planted into garden borders or containers on the patio. We recommend planting the different varieties together to create a carpet of eye-catching colour within the garden. The collection includes one of each variety: Burning Hearts (scarlet with white edge), Candy Hearts (pink) and Sulphur Hearts (yellow). First grade loose roots are supplied.

Growing at a glance…

Slugs may cause some damage to dicentra plants if you dont take some precautions (such as slug pellets). Plant in any fertile and well drained garden soil and position them in full sun or partial shade. To plant loose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for 1-3 hours before planting, then dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
