Echinacea, or cone-flowers have become a firm favourite in flower displays and have been developed in to new ranges of colours known as the Big Sky series. After Midnight displays wide bright pink slightly overlapping pink petals with a prominent spiky black centre. Held up on fine black stems above rich blue-green foliage. Does best in full sunlight, though will tolerate partial shade. An obvious choice as a cut flower but its fabulous colour and scent are a great bonus in the garden and are appealing to butterflies and bees. Flowers June-September. Height 45-50cm and spread 30-40cm. First grade loose roots supplied.
