Deep buttery yellow flowers with bronzy foliage, superb naturalisers. Eranthis, or winter aconites are from the buttercup family and flower very early in the year, as early as January where the weather is mild. They are very frost hardy and can survive fresh snow cover. Ideal for planting under trees where they will make the most of the last of the sunshine before the trees foliage thickens in the warmer months. Plant along with snowdrops or dwarf iris for a colourful early spring display. 3-4cm Bulbs supplied.
