Product Description
Deep buttery yellow flowers with bronzy foliage, superb naturalisers. Eranthis, or winter aconites are from the buttercup family and flower very early in the year, as early as January where the weather is mild. They are very frost hardy and can survive fresh snow cover. Ideal for planting under trees where they will make the most of the last of the sunshine before the trees foliage thickens in the warmer months. Plant along with snowdrops or dwarf iris for a colourful early spring display. 4/5cm Bulbs supplied.

Take some precautions to discourage slugs as they are often attracted to these clump-forming perennials. Plant at least 3-5cm deep in the Autumn and watch as they will appear as early as January/February. Plant in a well-drained area of the garden, in either full sun or in partial shade.
