Erodium Bishops Rose provides a great ground cover option, and is ideally suited for alpine or rock gardens, or even walls and crevices, due to it needing free-draining soil to thrive.

Its foliage is dense, but slightly scalloped, which looks striking against the mass of vibrant pink geranium-like flowers it produces, from early summer through to autumn.
