Product Description
Exochorda macrantha 'The Bride' is also known as the 'Pearl Bush'. This majestic flowering shrub stays true to its name and produces masses of white, pearl-like flower buds at the beginning of April. Throughout mid-April and May, the arching branches on The Bride Plant are covered in open white flowers with silky, tissue paper petals. In autumn the leaves turn a blaze of orange red adding further interest. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this shrub is ideal for planting at the back of the border where it will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 2m. 9cm pot grown plants supplied (please note this is not supplied as a standard shrub on a stem).

Provide a mulch to protect from Winter and Spring frosts. Very low maintenance, making it perfect for gardeners of all skill level.Plant in well prepared, fertile soil. Make sure that the soil does not have to much lime, as they do not tolerate it. Plant in full sun or light shaded areas.
