Product Description
Hamamelis Magic Fire, also known as Chinese witch hazel, is a deciduous, winter flowering shrub which produces clusters of sweetly scented, crinkled flowers in a beautiful coral red to orange blend, true to its namesake. Bursts of fiery blooms appear in abundance on bare twigs, creating a remarkably unusual effect from December to March. In autumn, the bright green linear foliage turns to warm shades of yellow, orange and red, which complement the flowers perfectly. The flowering twigs create unusual indoor displays, we'd recommend planting in tall vases for a sophisticated look. We supply grafted not seed grown plants, which gives a dramatic improvement in quality/amount of flowers compared to seed grown plants, which turn out larger but with terrible flower performance. Height 3m. Supplied as top-quality 40-60cm rootball.
