Hosta Morning Star is a gorgeous go-to plant for colour and shape in the summer garden. This plant is perfect for planting in beds and containers, or even rockeries throughout the season. Grows to heights of 45cm and produces beautiful waxy bi-coloured leaves of light and dark green shades in an ovate shape.

Growing at a glance…
Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them. Plant straight away on arrival in any fertile, well drained soil. These are young plants, so please leave in small pots for 5 to 6 weeks and then pot on into a larger 1.5 - 2 litre pot, or plant into final spot.
