Crocus are a classic late winter through to spring flowering botanical bulbous perennial, small by their nature, but when together in larger groups they really do make a spectacular display from February onwards. Supplied as top-quality corms, sourced from only the best growers in Europe. Supplied in one of three corm sizes, all represent amazing value-for-money and will naturalise year after year to create a large display. Available to order online from June through to December, with delivery from August through to December.

5/6cm circumference corms – Our most popular corm size for early-flowering standard varieties, they are ideal for planting in large groups within a border, rockery or container, where they naturalise and multiply each year to produce an increasingly effective display.

7/8cm circumference corms – A reliable and effective choice for large-flowering Crocus, available for varieties where you need larger flowers than the standard 5/6cm corms. A popular size for premium varieties such as Flower Record, Joan of Arc and Grand Maitre.

9cm+ circumference corms – Our largest sized Crocus corms, these premium sized corms are a little more expensive but will produce the largest flower-sizes from any corm supplied.

Crocus bulbs/corms are easy to grow and a very carefree option for the modern gardener. We recommend planting at approximately 5-10cm deep, in well-drained soil on arrival. To fully enrich the soil and provide continued nutritional benefits we suggest you add some organic matter to the soil mix, such as bonemeal or some compost.

Versatile by their nature, Crocus can be planted in large groups for a superb carpet of colour, or in smaller groups at the front of a border/rockery where they will blend wonderfully into a mixed display. If growing within border, you can leave the corms to naturalise and they will create a larger display year after year, offering fantastic value for money.
